A night in Stockholm with a local

Monika guided us through a wonderful evening - strolling the streets of old town, pointing out key historical and fun cultural facts, as well as some of the beautiful architecture of Stockholm. She shared her knowledge, insight and love for her home city. Also, took notes on her recommendations for other points of interest to explore. I had a wonderful time on this tour. My guide Fayez was very well educated in Swedish History and the ways of life here in Stockholm and Sweden. We went to areas that the tourist usually wouldn't know to go to for a good local meal and cool bar. In addition, conversation was great with Fayez. We talked everything Swedish and threw in some American flare like, why am I looking at a 7-11 here in Sweden. It was a fun evening.
