We had a fantastic time with Patricia our guide. She is so knowledgeable of Madrid and Spanish history. Patricia recommended good places to eat and great little cafes. Would highly recommend this tour.

Despite awful weather, this was a great walking tour. I joined on my own and found Patricia knowledgeable, engaging, and easy company. I’d happily recommend it.

Lisa was an excellent host. She was sweet, knowledgeable, and adapted our tour for our senior with a wheelchair. She even planned the route so we could avoid hills and stairs.

Gwen and myself enjoyed a wonderful tour from Patricia Morcillo on Wednesday, January 7th. Her wealth of knowledge included Sol, The Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and much more. For nearly 3 hours we journeyed through the most important historics in Madrid. I’m confident that we learned a lot more because of the Tour from Patricia than previously known. I would recommend the tour to anyone!

I was fortunate enough to get to know our host (Patricia) and experience this tour with my older one. She is very knowledgeable and skilled at what she does. She took the time to help us understand the nuances of Spanish Culture, the city vibes of Madrid and its many hidden spots for shopping, I just wish we had more time on this one! Thanks very much, Patricia! Very much appreciated!

What you’ll do

Get oriented in Madrid without the worry and wonderings of having to plan an entire itinerary on your own - we’re exhausted just thinking about it. Instead, you’ll leave your comfort zone in total comfort as one of our local Madrid hosts introduces you to their city.

Discover hidden gems and world-famous landmarks, avoid all of the tourist traps and learn the best ways to move and shake your way through the city (although we will say that walking is always a blast here - so much to see, and there’s always tapas bars and churros shops to stop at when you need a rest).

Get a snapshot of this golden metropolis (coincidentally, you can really take a snapshot of the city at its golden hour from the Temple of Debod) and ask any of the 101 questions we know you’ve got about what to do in the city.

You could explore iconic museums, contemporary art galleries or get lost in a royal palace where there are over 3,000 bedrooms (bit much, we know) or just unwind over some tapas and pick your host’s brain, it’s all up to you!
