Hi, I’m Ted

I’ve lived in Busan for 15 years

I speak English, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese

I am a Worker

I’m Soonil, a Busan local who believes the city is best explored one bite, one beach walk, and one good pub at a time. I love Busan for its incredible local food and beautiful beaches, which conveniently justify both my long walks and my food hunts. You’ll often find me scouting old-school spots, trendy cafés, and pubs worth remembering, then walking it all off along the coast. I know Busan’s neighborhoods well and enjoy sharing stories behind its historical sites, must-see attractions, and the places locals actually eat and drink. Expect relaxed walks, honest recommendations, a few laughs, and possibly a strong opinion about where to eat next.
