Get your first snapshot of the city as you join one of our local Lisbon hosts to orientate yourself, discover the best ways to get around, as well as a recommendation or ten about where you could visit (and when, and how, and most importantly: “Is there food there?”).
Learn how to navigate Lisbon city and its surroundings by foot, metro, or vintage tram, get nifty tips and tricks to experience the city like a local, and ask any or all of the 101 questions you may have about the area.
Along the way, you could find yourself strolling down grand avenues lined with purple jacaranda trees or exploring a warren of small streets in a 1000-year-old neighborhood. We reckon both sound pretty cool.
You’ll spot famous sights like the São Jorge Castle and Praça do Comércio, stop to pick up some pastries or sip some sangria on a terrace - the point is, you’ll feel at home in no time at all with your host showing you the ropes.

Absolutely amazing day. Our tour guide Alex was the best ever who has so much knowledge and passion for the city and its history it just added to our experience. My husband is in a wheelchair, and Alex had walked the route he was planning to take us the day before to check it was all accessible. Can’t recommend Alex enough. My husband and I did a 3 hour private walking tour with Ricardo and we saw so much! Ricardo really knows Lisbon and took us to famous spots on everyone’s list as well as lesser knows parts of the city that added charm and authenticity to our experience.
