Where do I begin? Learning about the architecture and history surrounding it, we learned about the Dutch language and culture (brass blocks in the sidewalks honoring Jews killed during Holocaust, plaque above doors as symbols of craftsmanship within), saw 2 last wooden buildings, smallest house, public housing courtyard, Dam square and hidden church Plus a quick walk through of Red Light district which wasn’t on our list but glad we touched on it Oh wait…almost forgot the Markets!!!!

It was our first time in Amsterdam, and this tour was the perfect introduction to the city. Having someone guide us through the highlights and help us navigate made everything so easy and enjoyable. Craig was absolutely amazing. His knowledge of the city’s architecture is impressive, and the fascinating anecdotes he shared truly brought Amsterdam to life. His passion for the city is contagious! I can’t recommend this tour highly enough and would encourage anyone visiting Amsterdam to book it.

We had such a great day in Amsterdam on our walking tour with Craig. He was very knowledgeable and personable and helped us familiarize ourselves with the area. Travelling with our two teen boys, he kept the day interesting and fun for all of us. He was great with communicating before to find out our likes/dislikes and was flexible with our meeting and drop-off locations to help maximize our time together. Highly recommend!

What you’ll do

Ah Amsterdam, you dreamy thing. You’ll join one of our local Amsterdam hosts, as they show you their mischievous city in a bespoke experience tailored just for you! Orientate yourself among the Golden Age canals as you take to the cobbled streets - there’s no telling what you might find.

Tulip traders, floating bookstores, monasteries converted into homes, hidden gardens, vinyl stores, and witty streetside attractions are all waiting for you. Don’t be afraid to ask your host questions and take advantage of their local know-how.

Sip on cold brew coffees as you stop by at the Van Gogh Museum, or visit the authentic architectural wonder that is Beginhof. Our host just can’t wait to share their home city with you and soon, we hope, you’ll be feeling at home too once they’ve shared their tips for where to eat, how to get around, and spilled a local secret or two.

P.S. Watch out for the bikes! We’re serious, it’s wild out there.
