Hi, I am Jesús, a local from Oaxaca who loves sharing the city’s rich culture, traditions, and everyday beauty. What I love most about Oaxaca is how it brings together ancestral expressions from across the state, blending them with the smells, flavors, and architecture that make the city so special. I enjoy visiting traditional markets and chatting with vendors about the origins of their products, as well as spending time in cozy cafes and old cantinas that tell their own stories. I know the Center, Xochimilco, Jalatlaco, and San Felipe neighborhoods really well, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge about Oaxaca’s native cultures, its festive traditions, and the magic of the Day of the Dead celebration.
