Sunrise to sunset: the ultimate Nagoya experience

Takako-san from City Unscripted was an exceptional guide who went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. When the day’s conditions met some roadblocks at Kaida Kogen, she quickly found beautiful alternative routes, allowing me to enjoy walking in nature nonetheless just as I had hoped. Along the way, we shared stories about our lives, turning a simple tour into a heartfelt and memorable journey. Her warmth, flexibility, and deep knowledge of the area made all the difference!

Takako-san was an absolutely wonderful guide! Despite unexpected roadblocks that made some pathways inaccessible, she went out of her way to find alternative scenic spots for us to enjoy the waterfalls in Kaida Kogen. She also thoughtfully planned alternative walking routes so I could still indulge in my love for hiking in nature. Along the way, we shared stories about our lives, making the experience feel less like a tour and more like a journey with an old friend. Thanks to her deep knowledge, kindness, and genuine hospitality, today is one of the most memorable highlights of my trip thus far.

Kumi was a fantastic tour guide! I absolutely adored her and her local knowledge about Nagoya. I wasn't sure what to expect from our first stop in Japan but she made it so memorable and taught us so much about Japanese culture that we were able to use on the rest of our trip. I completely recommend this tour to anyone interested in Nagoya or Japanese culture at all!
