We had a lovely time with our kind and knowledgeable guide, Indira. She organized things to accommodate my daughter who uses a wheelchair, and created a good balance of “must do” sites and hidden gems I wouldn’t have ever found on my own.

Indira was an amazing guide! Warm, kind, knowledgeable, and clearly loves this city and all its hidden gems. I really enjoyed the balance of the “big sites” with little pieces of history and art that would not have been on my radar. She also stayed very cognizant of our particular needs, as my daughter uses a wheelchair.

This walking tour was just what we were looking for: a private and relaxed look at the neighborhoods of Rome. Our guide, Carlos, tailored our tour based on what we’d already seen and gave us a lot of unique history only a local could know. We’d highly recommend this type of tour to complement other tours taken while visiting beautiful Rome

Luca was amazing! He showed me really cool ancient Roman sites that other tours don't visit! He also took me to a very beautiful island with an old church and taught me some local WW2 history. We discussed how these histories play into modern Italy. I had a fantastic time and we even stopped for a 5 minute coffee break! Luca gave me some great advice on local restaurants and invited me to live music! Overall very friendly and conversational. I wasn't feeling well so we walked slow and made frequent stops. It felt like I was walking around Rome with a friend.

Along the way, you'll see some iconic sights - think crumbling ruins and ancient churches - and you can stop for an espresso (the locals don't have milky coffees after lunch), a slice of pizza Romana, or gelato along the way.

It's always easier to find your feet with a friend by your side, and that is exactly how it will feel with our host, who will have you feeling right at home once they've shared their tips for where to eat, how to get around, and spilled a local secret or two.
