Bea was a fantastic guide. She was warm and engaging. She's bright and very knowledgeable. She has an artist's soul so it was easy to connect while she shared some of her favorite places in Rome. She was also very flexible regarding the itinerary. It was an exceptionally hot day so the plan we initially laid out had to be adjusted. She pivoted like a pro, without complaint. Ask for Bea if you want an intelligent (she knows German and Chinese!) guide who radiates warmth and personality.

We booked our tour through VIATOR and were fortunate to secure Alex from City Unscripted as our guide. Alex was great and his depth of knowledge was a real benefit to our tour as he has able to explain the significance of each of the sites we visited. If you plan on doing this tour see if you can line up Alex as your guide, you won't be disappointed.

Alex had a depth of knowledge that we did not expect. His detailed explanation of the importance of each site was superb and he really looked after us in explaining what was in front of us. Couldn’t recommend Alex high enough.

Luca did an awesome job. He contacted us prior to the tour to find out our interests and not only did we visit several amazing sites, he was willing to take us off the beaten path to see areas many people would overlook. He had great knowledge of the city, area, and cultures. He was very personable and did not try to just keep us moving and finish like some other tour guides we had. He even stayed with us as long as we had questions and offered multiple recommendations for food and sites to see while we were visiting.

Such a wonderful way to have a private tour. Gerry was extremely accommodating, incredibly knowledgeable and a great guide in Rome. Extremely flexible and friendly this was a great way to learn and see a piece of history, art, and culture.
