What you’ll do

You’ll join one of our local Milan hosts for a trip to Pavia for the day, an enchanting town steeped in history and culture.

With roots tracing all the way back before the Roman era, it will feel as if you have been transported into a whole other world where emperors and kings rule the land, and romantic Renaissance buildings are scattered between medieval porticoes and towers.

Sounds like a fairytale, we know. You could visit the 12th century Church of Santa Maria di Betlem, the Renaissance Visconti Castle, Pavia Cathedral, and the Romanesque Church of San Michele - which is where Italy's kings were once crowned - and explore the world-renowned University of Pavia.

It goes without saying that your host can’t wait to take you to a fabulous restaurant for lunch - just let us know if your style is more family-run osteria, or a Michelin starred restaurant.

Our trip to Lake Como was amazing. Our guide Marco was the best. He was so knowledgeable and planned the trip so well. He kept us informed before the trip and was there timely and had everything planned. His choices on places to stop for coffee and lunch were excellent. It was a day to remember for sure!! Thanks Marco

Picca took us on a fantastic tour and allowed us to choose options as we went along. I loved his flexibility. We got to learn about the history of different neighborhoods and meet locals. Picca was full of great recommendations and even helped us to make dinner reservations at a wonderful place on the Navigli. Would definitely tour with him again!

Our time in Milan was made truly unforgettable thanks to Tiziana, our incredible guide. From the moment we met her, it was clear we were in the best hands. She guided us through the Duomo and the Fashion District with a level of expertise, passion, and professionalism that far exceeded our expectations. Tiziana’s depth of knowledge—from art and architecture to fashion and history—brought every detail to life. She communicated everything with clarity, warmth, and a genuine enthusiasm that made the experience both informative and deeply enjoyable. We also noticed how much more we were getting compared to other tours around us—she simply goes above and beyond. Her thoughtfulness and personal touches turned our tour into something truly special. It felt less like a scripted walk and more like being shown the city by a close friend with unmatched insider knowledge. If you’re visiting Milan, do not miss the chance to tour with Tiziana. She was the highlight of our trip

We had a wonderful day with Massimo! He showed us some of the beautiful spots in Milan, including the Duomo, Galleria, and Sforzesco castle. We also were able to stop at a small church with a really interesting forced perspective of the typical cross lay out of the church. Massimo was engaging and informative, he really provided us with a lot of interesting information. I would highly recommend this tour.
