Hi, I’m Serena

Genoa

What I love most about Genoa is its contrast: you can wander through the medieval historic center, then take a funicular up to Castelletto for amazing views over the rooftops and sea. I love getting lost in the city’s maze of alleys, exploring the Righi, Castelletto and Carmine neighborhoods, or heading to the seaside for a relaxed walk and aperitivo at sunset. I’m also always on the lookout for great second-hand shops and hidden vintage gems. I love history and enjoy sharing Genoa’s fascinating stories, traditions and local secrets with guests, while showing you some of my favorite authentic spots along the way.

Hi, I’m Tom/Tommy

Genoa

Genoa’s unique setting, squeezed between the mountains and the sea, gives it an incredible character, and I never get tired of seeing the city from the water or catching the perfect sunset over the port. I love spending summer evenings with friends over an aperitivo or dinner by the sea, with the breeze, waves, and plenty of laughs. I know the Historic Centre, Foce, Carignano, and Boccadasse well, and I’m always ready to share the best spots for those postcard-worthy views. I’ll also take you into the historic centre to discover centuries-old cooking traditions that are still proudly passed down today.

Hi, I’m Daniele

Genoa

I’m especially drawn to the historic centre, where the narrow caruggi, beautiful old buildings, and mysterious atmosphere make every walk feel like a little adventure. I also love Genoa’s connection with the sea, from the bustling harbour to the peaceful Mediterranean waterfront. I know the historic centre, Boccadasse, and Castelletto very well, including the best viewpoints, landmarks, local spots, and hidden corners. Food is another passion of mine, and I’m always happy to recommend traditional dishes and authentic places to eat. Whether you’re curious about Genoa’s history, culture, traditions, or everyday life, I’d love to show you the city through a local’s eyes, with plenty of good stories and great food along the way!

Hi, I’m Alvaro

Genoa

I’ve been welcoming tourists for the past four years and never get tired of showing people why this Mediterranean gem is so special. I love exploring the city centre, from Piazza Ferrari and Via San Lorenzo to the magnificent cathedral, and sharing stories behind Genoa’s fascinating history and incredible mix of architectural styles. The Old Port is one of my favourite places, while Boccadasse, Albaro, and Castelletto each offer their own charm and stunning views. Of course, no visit is complete without tasting Ligurian favourites like focaccia and pesto, enjoying a pizza Margherita, or relaxing over a weekend aperitivo. I’d love to show you Genoa through the eyes of a local!
