Hi, I’m Francesca

I’m Francesca, a warm and enthusiastic local who loves sharing the stories, traditions, and everyday life of Bergamo. I’m especially fascinated by the city’s rich history, from Roman and medieval times to the Renaissance and beyond. I love introducing guests to places like Palazzo della Ragione and telling the story of Bartolomeo Colleoni, one of Bergamo’s great historical figures. I know Città Alta, Bergamo’s city centre, and Villaggio Crespi especially well, and I’m always happy to share my favourite local spots. One of my favourite moments is watching the bells ring at midday from above Santa Eufemia, a lovely surprise at the end of my tours. I can also point you towards a delicious, affordable lunch at Il Polentone for a taste of traditional polenta taragna. Whether you love history, culture, sport, cycling, or simply discovering a city like a local, I’ll be happy to show you Bergamo!

What will we see? All the city's main attractions in just a few hours, there are many details and fascinating facts we’ll discover. I can’t reveal them here because they’re a surprise!

Hi, I’m Giulia

Bergamo

I love walking through Città Alta, discovering its historic shops and artisan workshops, and visiting places such as the Accademia Carrara. I know the small local producers who preserve Bergamo’s culinary traditions, including those making casonselli, and I enjoy sharing the city through its food, street food, and brunch culture. I especially enjoy walking through Piazza Vecchia, reaching San Vigilio and its castle for the panoramic views, and introducing guests to local favourites like Bergamo’s famous stracciatella gelato. I know the lesser-known corners and neighbourhoods of Città Alta and love creating authentic experiences away from the usual tourist routes. My goal is to share Bergamo with the same enthusiasm and care with which I experience it every day.

Hi, I’m Verdiana

Bergamo

I love the historic charm of Città Alta, its hidden corners, beautiful walks, and the character of the neighbourhoods in Città Bassa. But for me, discovering Bergamo is also about tasting it: traditional dishes, local products, wine, and authentic culinary experiences. I know Bergamo and its surroundings well, from charming villages and wineries to local food producers and nearby destinations like Lecco and Varenna on Lake Como. I’m also happy to help you get around, including the funicular connecting the Upper and Lower Town. Whether you’re here for history, food, or simply to experience everyday Bergamo, I’d love to help you discover it like a local.
