I’m especially fascinated by the city’s rich history, from Roman and medieval times to the Renaissance and beyond. I love introducing guests to places like Palazzo della Ragione and telling the story of Bartolomeo Colleoni, one of Bergamo’s great historical figures. I know Città Alta, Bergamo’s city centre, and Villaggio Crespi especially well, and I’m always happy to share my favourite local spots. One of my favourite moments is watching the bells ring at midday from above Santa Eufemia, a lovely surprise at the end of my tours. I can also point you towards a delicious, affordable lunch at Il Polentone for a taste of traditional polenta taragna.
