George contacted me well in advance of the tour, asking about our preferences and all about us to tailor the tour. He planned it out perfectly! We have two children and he managed to give just the right amount of history with plenty of engagement to keep them interested. He took us off the beaten path and into places we never would have seen on our own (including a beautiful tiny church that was opening up for the morning as it seems as though he knew the volunteer that we ran into on the street). We st the sites in the city as well as many of the neighborhoods in their best light. I do wish we had done the tour with George earlier in our stay to get us better oriented since he did such a great job introducing to Athens. I would 100% recommend George and this tour to anyone coming into the city.
