Fabulous walking tour with Virginie. She was personable and funny and filled to the brim with information about Marseille. Lots of walking and lots of learning - our favorite kind of tour. Would highly recommend.

This was a wonderful tour! Virginie contacted us beforehand to clarify what we wanted to see. She arrived outside our hotel very promptly to start our 4-hour tour. She was well-organized and took us to many out-of-the-way places, as well as major area highlights. She was personable, interesting, and very knowledgeable of the city; she gave us great tips for sightseeing to maximize our remaining time in Marseille.

We were completely immersed in history, passionately and clearly retracing the city's evolution from its origins to the present day. Each stop was lively, captivating, and perfectly paced—time flew by. The guide shared his knowledge with enthusiasm, making history accessible and fascinating. A real treat from beginning to end, with no time to lose focus: we missed nothing, quite the opposite! An enriching experience that I highly recommend!

We had an amazing tour with Jean Gabriel. His passion for the city allowed us to get a true understanding of its history and culture. We really appreciated Jean Gabriel tailoring the tour to us. A lot of walking but worth every step. We visited several shops and a tasty stop for hot chocolate (yum). We highly recommend Jean Gabriel.
