What you’ll do

Montreal is one-of-a-kind, a blend of French-infused heritage and Canadian multiculturalism that can’t be recreated. Join your local guide in taking in sweeping city views from the apex of Mount Royal, the striking eponym watching over downtown Montreal. You could sample some of the best Québécois cuisine in the multicultural Mile End neighborhood or Jean-Talon Market, a farmers’ market lined with stalls selling food and fresh produce (but if you prefer pizza over poutine, Little Italy might be more your style). If you want to see snapshots of the city’s past and learn more about its European-influenced history, you could head to the cobbled lanes of Old Montreal, a 17th-century district with a port used by French fur traders 400 years ago!

We booked 8 hours with Fiona. She was very flexible and accommodating with what we wanted to see. She adjusted based on our requests and was very conscientious about our pace. She communicated with me ahead of time and had great recommendations for us and showed us some things we would never had found or known about on our own!
