Michael was so knowlegeable about Sydney history! He took us to several places that provided a wonderful geographical overview of the city. Michael was fun and very flexible. I would highly recommend this easy to understand, ex-high school teacher for any Sidney tour. ❤️

I have been on many walking tours. This was the first that tried to match a tour guide to our group (and that was 100% successful). Before the tour Ross reached out several times when crafting our itinerary. The resulting tour fit well what we wanted to see and learn in the time available. Ross is very personable and made the tour a walk with friends. We learned a lot about the city and Ross answered our many questions (plus checked in with us during the tour to make sure he was meeting our expectations - and he was).

We like the customization featured by CU. Guide Michael is engaging, knowledgeable yet mild-mannered and completely flexible. We especially found the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) a fascinating structure with enormous dimension and architectural charm. Whilst the exterior is grand, It’s certainly more so inside. One must not visit the streets of Sydney without experiencing this massive piece of Australian heritage.

What you’ll do

Armed with your golden ticket (the Opal card, which allows you to catch a train, bus, or ferry) and your own personal GPS and guidebook (your local host), you’ll be ready for a crash course in Sydney.

From figuring out the transport systems to getting schooled on the city’s best beaches (Manly Beach for sunbathing and surfing; Bondi for beachside bar-hopping with beautiful people), your host will be an invaluable tool for getting you relaxed and comfortable in one of the world’s sunniest cities.

Along the way, you’ll also get a lesson in hunting down the best food - the historic inner west suburbs are a great place to start - and learn the secrets only Sydneysiders know, like which ferry to take for the best sunset harbor views.
