Zenid was a professional, friendly and sincere guide. He never stops revealing the stories and meanings of the buildings, streets and all the other architectural features in and out of Sodermalm. He also shares his well-learned knowledge and insights on Sweden's culture, history and its people. As a local resident, he leads you to the amazing viewpoints you might have never been able to discover on your own for the brief time of visiting. The whole tour comes down to a kind of an essential theme about Sweden at the end. I thoroughly enjoyed walking with him. Highly recommend to those who want to genuinely understand Sodermalm and Sweden.

This was the highlight of our trip. Freddie took us to so many cute stores all around the city. I LOVE Swedish design, so this was my ideal day. When our time together came to an end, he wrote down many more names of shops for me that were on the other side of the city, and that we did not have time to see. I certainly would not have found these places on my own, nor would I have had the patience to find these authentic design stores on the Internet. I also feel like a made a new Swedish friend :) Highly recommended!

What you’ll do

Just like each of us, Stockholm has its own unique style. But what if your style and Stockholm’s style met somewhere in the middle?

You’ll join a local Stockholm host for a few hours of shopping together, in which time you can hit the Scandi-chic boutiques which the city has a penchant for, as well as rummaging through as many vintage stores and flea markets as you have time for!

Shopping for unique or second-hand pieces is a local pastime in Stockholm (second only behind fika), and with one of our hosts taking you to the best flea markets, thrift stores, and Scandanavian boutiques you’ll soon see why.

You might end up at Stadmission, getting lost (not really, we hope) in the second-hand and vintage stores that are completely unique and make this flea market one of the local favorites.

Or perhaps you’ll end up at Täby Kyrkornas second-hand or Siv & Åke - a new addition to Stockholm’s vintage scene, known for its quirky and playful personality. Bring your a-game, there’s plenty of shopping to be done here.
