I had the most wonderful experience in Madrid, all thanks to Pedro! From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful with the pre-tour planning and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and preferences. Pedro has a remarkable ability to bring Madrid's history to life, seamlessly blending fascinating historical insights with his extensive knowledge of architecture. He was engaging, personable, funny, and an excellent communicator throughout the tour, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. His passion for the city was evident in every aspect of the walk. To top it all off, Pedro surprised us at the end with some delicious local treats, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. This was truly one of the highlights of our visit to Madrid, and we cannot recommend Pedro highly enough. If you're looking for an authentic, insightful, and enjoyable experience, look no further!

Jorge's private, custom walking tour of Oaxaca city center for our group of three was amazing. He tailored the experience to our interests and it was exceptionally informative. Jorge brought so much of his interesting personal history and family background to the conversation. He also offered expert guidance on other things to do in Oaxaca. I would recommend Jorge specifically and City Unscripted in general to anyone looking for a great introduction and orientation to the city. Thank you Jorge!

Can't say enough about how great our experience with City Unscripted was in Kanazawa. Our tour guide Sho reached out ahead of time via e-mail and we connected via WhatsApp as well. We were able to customize our experience around the sites we were most interested in. We were also able to communicate easily on meeting location and arrival. We were able to easily find the meeting location and start our tour. Sho was very knowledgeable and happy to answer and all of our questions. The length of our tour was just perfect. We even squeezed in some extra sites with our extra time. It was nice when entering sites with an admission fee to have the private guide to assist with what tickets to purchase and facilitate the purchase. During our tour Sho did a great job of taking photos of us on our tour which he sent to us via WhatsApp after the tour. With it being a private tour we didn't have to worry too much about crowd sizes as it was just the 2 of us with Sho. It made it easy to navigate together and hear what Sho had to say. Fully recommend booking private tours through City Unscripted. We will certainly be checking them out first on future trips to see if they offer their services.

Darren was an absolute joy. He was so knowledgeable of the Manchester music scene and took us to all the places on my bucket list. His anecdotes were very entertaining as was his understanding of the city’s history. I feel like we made a new friend.

Our tour with Jose in Dublin, Ireland could not have been any better. Jose was so kind, full of details and knowledge, considerate of our needs, and so much fun! My wife and I had a fantastic tour from Nasir. I was not expecting such a warm, informative and easy going experience. Our tour was for four hours and it flew by! Nasir loves Vancouver and it shows, he is welcoming, informative and has an ease about him that lets the tour unfold organically. Really lovely human being. 10/10!

Nasir was fantastic, amazing and wonderful all rolled into one. He clearly loves Vancouver and showing visitors all there is to know about Gastown. We were together for four hours and the time flew by. I really didn’t think about the time because the entire tour felt organic and responsive to our interests. Nasir knew so much about Vancouver’s history both distant and recent. It felt like visiting an old friend who wanted to show off where they live. Highly recommend!!
