I had the most wonderful experience in Madrid, all thanks to Pedro! From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful with the pre-tour planning and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and preferences. Pedro has a remarkable ability to bring Madrid's history to life, seamlessly blending fascinating historical insights with his extensive knowledge of architecture. He was engaging, personable, funny, and an excellent communicator throughout the tour, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. His passion for the city was evident in every aspect of the walk. To top it all off, Pedro surprised us at the end with some delicious local treats, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. This was truly one of the highlights of our visit to Madrid, and we cannot recommend Pedro highly enough. If you're looking for an authentic, insightful, and enjoyable experience, look no further!

Can't say enough about how great our experience with City Unscripted was in Kanazawa. Our tour guide Sho reached out ahead of time via e-mail and we connected via WhatsApp as well. We were able to customize our experience around the sites we were most interested in. We were also able to communicate easily on meeting location and arrival. We were able to easily find the meeting location and start our tour. Sho was very knowledgeable and happy to answer and all of our questions. The length of our tour was just perfect. We even squeezed in some extra sites with our extra time. It was nice when entering sites with an admission fee to have the private guide to assist with what tickets to purchase and facilitate the purchase. During our tour Sho did a great job of taking photos of us on our tour which he sent to us via WhatsApp after the tour. With it being a private tour we didn't have to worry too much about crowd sizes as it was just the 2 of us with Sho. It made it easy to navigate together and hear what Sho had to say. Fully recommend booking private tours through City Unscripted. We will certainly be checking them out first on future trips to see if they offer their services.

Our tour with Jose in Dublin, Ireland could not have been any better. Jose was so kind, full of details and knowledge, considerate of our needs, and so much fun! He gave us the perfect tour with a lot of inside information! Thank you, Jose, for an amazing introduction to this fascinating city! You can’t ask for a better guide! We hit the jack pot!!!

We have the best tour guides all over Japan. They were all very friendly and all fabulous. Rei in Himeji was exceptional. Helpful. Planned and booked a fantastic lunch and had extra little videos to show us at assorted locations. She was perfection. She arranged our tour such that we would get to each of the different locations with less crowds, and in the least hot part of the day. She took us to locations that other people might’ve bypassed. Marie in Tokyo was SO COOL! She was knowledgeable and friendly and amazing! She had a lot of knowledge about the city and really got along with my daughter when they realize they shared an interest in the same music. We Have a great time with her. Eugene, and Kyoto was wonderful. We opted for the night tour, so even though a lot of the shrines were closed, we got to see them just not enter them, which was OK because we didn’t need to enter every single shrine in Kyoto. He told us all about Guyon and the history and the architecture And what they do to the cedar on the buildings. He told us the history of the place he told us some pop culture about the place. And he took us to an incredible Ramen place. He also took us in and around the different areas where there were less crowds, but more beauties than We even expected. In Osaka,, Kanna Took us on a food tour that was exceptional. She also managed to get us a tea room excursion after our event because a friend she had in town. Everything we tried to book was sold out, and she made one phone call and we were in by 4:30. she was incredibly funny, very helpful and oh my gosh, the food in Osaka! I can’t even. Our final Tori, Nora, with the peaceful, playful deer, ha ha, was really wonderful. Our tour guide, Eugene was fantastic. He took us first, up to the top of the building so we can see the whole city. He then took us in and around and through all of the most important parts of Nora. And he was wonderful to talk to you. Thank you so much for your incredible staff and all of your incredible tours.

We had an absolutely fantastic food tour in Hong Kong with Benny! From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. Benny took us through the vibrant neighborhoods of Sham Shui Po and Jordan, introducing us to authentic local restaurants and hidden gems that we would never have found on our own. Every stop was carefully chosen, and every dish was delicious, giving us a true taste of Hong Kong’s incredible food culture. We tried a great variety of traditional dishes, and Benny explained the history and local significance behind each one, making the experience even more enjoyable. What really made the tour special was Benny himself. He was friendly, knowledgeable, passionate about Hong Kong, and happy to answer all of our questions. Walking through the local neighborhoods with him gave us a much deeper appreciation of the city’s culture and everyday life.

Our tour guide Balazs could not have been more perfect for us! He was timely, and personable, and so knowledgeable and passionate about his home City! He made the most of a hot day and gave us innumerable tips on making this experience more meaningful! We would do this again with him upon return trip without question.

City Unscripted and Lisa worked very hard to personalize this experience based on my requests! The day was perfect because of their efforts. I was able to see the sights I wanted to see and to have the experiences I wanted like a private boat tour because they listened to what I wanted and made it happen! I highly recommend this experience!
