Pizza, pastries, and picnics – yes, please! Castles, cathedrals, and cobbled cafes
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
In Milan, the city that needs no introduction, you’ll get, well... a pretty great introduction! Think of it as a crash course in all things Milanese from your knowledgeable host, from learning how to navigate the city’s network of buses and trams to discovering the best local haunts for sunset aperitivo and a perfectly prepared risotto. You’ll weave through the backstreets of the city’s central districts, making mental notes of where to stop off again tomorrow, and even squeeze in some sightseeing – landmarks like Sforza Castle and Duomo di Milano cathedral are along the way! When you’re feeling snacky, grab an opportunity to pop into a cafe and ask your host any questions you might have over an extra-strong espresso.

Would definitely recommend - our guide Bibi was fantastic and even made it fun and entertaining for our kids, ages 3 and 8!
Show moreWe liked the knowledge of the guide, her flexibility and language options.
Show moreI booked this tour and I am so glad I did! Massimo was an amazing and very knowledgeable tour guide. As I was travelling solo he made sure I always felt comfortable and he even took some great pictures of me!! He made me fall in love with every part of the city. My experience was a 10/10 and I will highly recommend it for anyone who wants to explore Milan with a private tour guide!!
Show moreMassimo did a great job-he did exactly what we wanted to do! We talked history, Italy in general, culture. We had seen most of Milan’s best know attractions, so he showed us other things. He provided information on eating and shopping. Overall, a great experience.
Show moreAndrea was my tour guide and he catered the tour to what I wanted to see, which included getting Roman pizza and authentic cannoncinis at the best shop in Milan. Lucky for me, he also does food tours and knew exactly where to bring us. Besides eating, we visited the Sforzesco Castle and walked by Duomo. It was a very hot day so we took it easy but I appreciated the taste of Milan that I was able to get with my knowledgeable guide.
