Pizza, pastries, and picnics – yes, please! Castles, cathedrals, and cobbled cafes
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
In Milan, the city that needs no introduction, you’ll get, well... a pretty great introduction! Think of it as a crash course in all things Milanese from your knowledgeable host, from learning how to navigate the city’s network of buses and trams to discovering the best local haunts for sunset aperitivo and a perfectly prepared risotto. You’ll weave through the backstreets of the city’s central districts, making mental notes of where to stop off again tomorrow, and even squeeze in some sightseeing – landmarks like Sforza Castle and Duomo di Milano cathedral are along the way! When you’re feeling snacky, grab an opportunity to pop into a cafe and ask your host any questions you might have over an extra-strong espresso.

Simona is a great host, very friendly and also knowledgeable about Milan history. I enjoy the tour very much!
Show moreOur tour guide, Bibi, planned a comprehensive and engaging tour of her native city. We saw both medieval and modern sites, with Bibi providing interesting information about each location. We took many fantastic photos! Bibi is a great tour guide: she is pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful, and flexible. A member of our group was bothered by a foot injury. Bibi graciously modified the walking pace and made some minor changes to our itinerary. ( I especially enjoyed riding the subway!) Bibi is the best!

Show moreReza did an amazing job. Very thoughtful and passionate. I really appreciated his quick and thorough history with our limited time. Super nice to me and my family.
Show moreGiulia was a very nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable tour guide. She was very patient and friendly. She made sure to take me to places I wanted to see and others she thought I would be interested and she was accurate. I liked the calmer sites she showed me as well. The botanical gardens were a pleasant surprise.
