Jose also emailed additional information in order to respond to our many tour questions. He often provided electronic images of historical buildings in order to respond to our questions. He fulfilled our desire to see art and architecture.

So who is the tour for: - best at the beginning of your stay in Dublin if you want to get your bearings quickly and have someone who knows the city show you what is worth doing in the coming days - for all those who don't want to follow a tour guide with an umbrella and a microphone in larger groups - individuality is a real plus here - everything is done on foot, as a walk - although the pace can be determined, you should be quite comfortable on foot so that the tour is worth it (our tracker showed almost 8km) Das Geld hat sich gelohnt - würden wir jederzeit wieder machen.

At the start of a 4-day city trip, we (two of us) had the highlights of the city shown to us for 3 hours (4 p.m. - 7 p.m.) in order to be able to orientate ourselves better for the coming days and to be able to plan what we would like to see in the following days Wanted to take a closer look in a few days. Our guide was José, a journalist by birth, not a native of Dublin, but at home in Dublin and very knowledgeable about history. It went well from the first minute - we met at our hotel and started from there and, at our request, ended directly in front of the restaurant, where we had reserved a table for dinner. A few days beforehand we received an email from the organizer with a questionnaire in which we could state our preferences, wishes and ideas about the tour. On the other hand, the first information about the city guide came with names and contact details - for us, José. He then got in touch the day after we filled out the questionnaire online and sent the first information about some places to visit, restaurant tips, etc. He also sent all the contact details including cell phone number. and WhatsApp were included so that you could communicate the meeting point and spontaneous wishes directly... great service, for what was actually a rather small city tour. Ultimately we walked the 3 hours in a large loop from the hotel on St Stephens Green across the city center area to various churches, the castle, Trinity College and the most important sights from different eras back to the Temple Bar District (quite quickly). Since it is an individual and personal tour, you have the opportunity to help shape the pace or content at any time. Of course, you don't have time for longer sightseeing in the 3 hours - you also need entrance tickets (and time) for many of the sights, including St. Patrick's Church and Christ Church, so we used the walk with José to prepare ourselves for the coming days to make a plan of what we wanted to look at more closely and for a longer period of
