Hi, I’m Juan! Your Quito local, passionate about sharing the city’s vibrant mix of colonial charm and modern energy. I love exploring the UNESCO-listed historic center with its colorful plazas, ornate churches like La Compañía, and bustling markets such as San Roque. Quito’s high-altitude setting at 2,850 meters offers breathtaking views of the Andes and nearby volcanoes like Imbabura, which I love to show visitors. I enjoy sampling traditional dishes like locro de papa and fanesca in La Ronda and La Floresta, trekking Pichincha or taking the TelefériQo to Cruz Loma, and joining festivals like Inti Raymi. Whether it’s discovering hidden eateries, scenic viewpoints, or cultural gems, I aim to make every visit unforgettable.
