Creative Corners Near El Poblado

Lanes with texture, shaped by what pulls you in

Just beyond El Poblado’s buzz, your host may guide you into quieter lanes where creativity lingers in subtle forms, painted shutters, old posters, and layered walls. You might pause here if something catches your eye, with time to follow wherever that interest leads.

A Quiet Hilltop Hermita

A moment of stillness, if that’s what the day calls for

If the mood leans toward reflection, your host might guide you to a humble hermita above Manila. No signs, no crowds, just benches, bougainvillea, and a view. Some guests sketch, some reflect, others just breathe. How long you stay is entirely up to you.

Medellín’s Secret Garden Trail

Graffiti, staircases, and spontaneous greenery

Winding beside Parque Bolívar, you may follow paths where herbs grow from cracks and murals bloom. This walk isn’t mapped; it moves with your pace. You might pause to smell a plant or hear how a neighbor started a garden. Your host adapts as the moment unfolds.

Casa Cultural Between Walls

If the door’s open, you decide whether to enter

Your host may lead you into a residential block where quiet cultural spaces sometimes surface, an open door, a low table, a handwritten sign. If something invites you in, you might pause for a quiet moment. If not, you simply carry the rhythm forward.

Viewpoint Above the Tram Line

One last scene, if you still have space to wander

If there’s time and the moment feels right, your host might suggest a short tram ride east. A modest overlook becomes the perfect close, city sounds softened, sketches in progress, Medellín at rest. Stay for a chat or just take it all in before parting ways.

Our guide (Daniela) was extremely knowledgeable about the sights and historical places of Naples. She was accommodating to our interests- best place for gelato and pastries the shopping area, the Spanish quarter. It was an extremely hot day but we weren’t rushed, it was our tour and Dan was so accommodating. On reflection it was great value for money as we saw lots and learnt lots about the fantastic Naples, the culture and history. Truly fascinating city.

Serena was our guide and she made the tour fantastic from beginning to end. She tailored it to our needs and was so knowledgeable. We sample the local food, heard about local culture and history. Serena’s passion for Napoli was infectious. We would highly recommend, even to teeenagers..our 14 and 16 year old loved it.
