What travelers think of our Canada experiences

Matti was a very friendly and gracious guide. He walked us all around the Kensington Market and Chinatown neighborhoods, sharing interesting facts about the city and cracking jokes the whole way. We had a really nice evening walking around and exploring Toronto. Because it was a Monday unfortunately a lot of unique food destinations were closed, but that’s on me for booking the tour on a Monday. We still enjoyed ourselves and I would highly recommend Matti to anyone looking to have fun exploring the Toronto downtown!

Christina was our host for the day, and we loved every minute we spent with her! She was delightful, knowledgeable, fun and took extremely good care of us. We loved seeing the city through her eyes. She told us great stories and helped us sample AMAZING foods from the best of Toronto! 10/10 recommend and would do it again in a heartbeat. We are fans. Thank you, Christina, and thank you City Unscripted for a fantastic experience!

What you’ll do

Known as Canada’s cultural and culinary capital for a reason and with a smorgasbord of flavors on offer, from ancient markets to succulent street foods and everything in-between, you’ll need a local foodie friend leading the way. Start the epicurean adventures at the 200-year-old artisanal hub of global gastronomy at St. Lawrence Market where candied salmon, local cheeses, freshly baked bagels (and don’t you dare forget the iconic Peameal bacon sandwich) all await sampling. Or if you prefer to wet your whistle and rub shoulders with some locals, the Distillery District and a craft beer of choice is calling! Kensington Market is next up and a must-visit, famed as the eclectic, food-hub ‘hood’ of Toronto and ideal as the top spot to get the most bang for your buck whilst tucking into it all. Bon appetit!
