Across Google, Tripadvisor, and other travel platforms, travelers share why City Unscripted is the best way to experience a city with a local.
Brilliant day, Taku( Osaka, Japan) was very friendly, easy to ask questions of. Fabulous service, very informative really helped on issues and to make our trip easier.
Show moreAi was an incredible guide who catered to exactly what I wanted to see in Kyoto. I loved that is informative, but casual. Ai was extremely knowledgable and answered all my questions in great detail. She honestly felt more of a friend than a tour guide. 12/10 would recommend!
Show moreHad an amazing day with Darren. He was extremely knowledgeable, provided interesting insight, including in crevices of the city that one would never find on their own. I would highly recommend to all.
Show moreWe booked the walking tour around Osaka and had a great time with our Guide Taku. He was full of interesting information, showed us all the best photo spots and made the tour fun and relevant to us. Taku was polite and helpful. I recommend booking this tour to anyone! Thanks again to our fabulous guide Taku!
Show moreI went on a tour of Milan with City Unscripted, and they did such a great job of tailoring the tour to what I was most interested in learning/experiencing about the city. I appreciated the questionnaire that they sent out beforehand to better understand what I was looking for, and they matched me with Simona, who was an incredible tour guide — very helpful, flexible, knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend trying out their tours, and I’ll check them out in other cities as well.
Show moreI used City Unscripted to take a tour of Hamburg, Germany. My guide was Ralf and he was great! He has a wealth of knowledge about Hamburg, and a great sense of humor so the 4 hour tour flew by. It is well worth doing and gave me a completely new view of Hamburg!
Show moreDarren was an absolute joy. He was so knowledgeable of the Manchester music scene and took us to all the places on my bucket list. His anecdotes were very entertaining as was his understanding of the city’s history. I feel like we made a new friend.
Show moreBertha is a wonderful guide who showed us sights in Hong Kong at a comfortable pace and tailored to our interests. It was like spending an afternoon with a local friend.

Anna was wonderful from the moment we met her in the lobby of our hotel! She tailored our walking tour exactly to our likes and showed us hidden gems that we would never have found on our own
Show moreMoe was excellent. Best guide we have had. Very proactive in planning and hit everything we wanted to see
Show moreYuki made this tour perfect for us. She was amazing.
Show moreTomo was prompt and very responsive leading up to the tour. she sent me a picture of what she would be wearing so we would recognize her and had no problems. she took us exactly where we wanted to go and we saw everything we wanted to. It was great+
Show moreOur guide, Robert, was amazing. He was extremely kind and welcoming. Also extremely knowledgeable and flexible. We had a wonderful time.
Show moreWe had a layover in Hong Kong and were hoping for a quick tour to give us a more directed historical and cultural overview. We were able to set a specific time and also point to what we wanted to hear about. Karen was terrific as an energetic, super knowledgeable, flexible guide who accommodated our timeline, transportation needs and the rain throughout our time together (3 hrs). As a native Hongkonger, Karen had great insights and also was super open about answering any questions on any topic. We learned about the financial & tourism industry as well as parts of language, history and how the city has been changing and adapting to sutainability needs, and political/financial situations. We learned a lot and could have fit in even more if we had not asked her to direct us back through public transportation a bit early as we were worried about timing. Thanks Karen- this was a wonderful way to see Hong Kong.
Show moreDonald was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the city of Hong Kong. We enjoyed spending time with him.
Show moreWe had a wonderful walk through the Centro Histórico with Nicolas. He is a fountain of information and proud of his heritage. It's so much nicer to explore such a history rich city, when your eyes are supported by a story teller giving it a much deeper meaning. The 3 hours were over before we knew it, but Nicholas wasn't yet done. Still spent almost half an hour extra showing the his favorite building, the current Grand Hotel Ciudad de Mexico.
