My whole life and every milestone I covered have been in Hiroshima. This is the place I grew up, studied, worked my first job and got married in. Living here, I noticed a language barrier between locals and international visitors and chose to study English. Now I'm happy to be bridging that language gap. I also spend a lot of time taking photos of food and beautiful places for Instagram and snacking on sweets (I can't help myself). I am a foodie and enjoy hopping between restaurants and bars. Der var en rigtig god tur og vores guide Tetsuo var super nem at forstå og gav os et godt indblik tilbage ind i historien inklusiv sin egen families historie fra 1945. It was a really good tour and our guide Tetsuo was super easy to understand and gave us a good insight back into history including his own family history from 1945.

History and culture are difficult to distill into "sound bites" or in this case a walking tour. Tetsuo was able to present an abundance of information with unique context that only comes from growing up, living in and being a part of that history and culture. I could spend many more hours in his company sharing the riches of Hiroshima.

I would recommend Tetsuo to anyone who wants to learn more about Hiroshima. He is passionate about his city and knows a great deal about it. He was patient when we asked questions or wanted to go to the shop for snacks/water. Hiroshima has such a tragic past but Tetsuo guided us through it gracefully.
