Hello, my name is Fedor, I was born in the Netherlands and have been living in Edinburgh for the past 11 years. During my many travels abroad I met my wife who has Scottish roots which later resulted in us calling Scotland home. While living here we have often hosted friends and family. I have a lot of experience showing people around, creating fun tours, and providing unusual and interesting local knowledge. We have a thirteen-year-old daughter and a one-year-old dog who is a spitting image of the Greyfriars Bobby. Living abroad I have experienced interacting and working with many different and sometimes complex cultures. Scotland has always been the place where we came home after a stint abroad. After living in the Westcoast we settled in Edinburgh and have walked and enjoyed Edinburgh city extensively. I am writing a Young Adult novel and interact frequently with fellow writers in Edinburgh. With my family, I am a keen visitor to the many Edinburgh festivities such as the book festival, the Fringe, and Hogmanay festivities. We frequently visit theatre and music festivals and love exploring different and new food and drink establishments, shops, and local activities.
