Hey there! My name is Kento, and I would love to show you around my hometown, Tokyo! Tokyo is a city that's near and dear to my heart, with its mix of modernity and tradition. It's a sprawling metropolis with something new and exciting to offer, whether it's the latest technology, fashion, or art. But what's amazing is that you can easily escape the hustle and bustle of the city with just a quick train ride to a quiet old temple that has stood for over 1000 years. As someone who loves sushi (I mean, who doesn't?), I know all the best spots to grab a bite in Tokyo. But sushi is just one of the many things I love about this city. Tokyo's nightlife is one of the best in the world, with bars that stay open until the wee hours of the morning and friendly people who are always happy to make new friends. Join me on a journey to discover the magic of Tokyo, a city that's full of intrigue and excitement. Let's explore together!

Kento was such a great guide for us. He was punctual, flexible, patient, and full of great food recommendations and cultural insights. He was also helpful before and after the day of the tour to make sure we had everything we needed for our time in Tokyo. Thank you, Kento!

Showed us some good places to shop.

We booked a lokal guide to get a good and quick overview of the city. Kento showed us several districts and sites, while he was flexible concerning special requests anytime. He is a young and well-educated student roughly in our age who have similar interests like us, e.g. he visited nontouristic places with us in Akihabara for computer games. He contacted us via Whatsapp beforehand to plan the day individually and timely. The pickup and drop off was punctual. Especially for an 8 hour tour, I recommend good walking shoes and constitution to walk multiple kilometers. Altogether Kento helped us to make the best of our limited free time (one day) in Tokyo and we would like to meet him again for another experience.

It is hard to see all of Tokyo in one day but Kento did a good job sharing the highlights - and was a pleasure to spend the day with. I liked this tour because I could customize it to see what I wanted - which included the Zero Kilometer marker (apparently not that famous here.) Kento also helped get me oriented for the subway and the city - and made sure I did a few errands while we were together which set me up for the rest of my day. (Getting a pasmo and trading in my JR Pass voucher). This particular tour was not as heavily focused on dates, history and culture as others but I certainly got to see some parts of the city the I would not have explored on my own like Ueno Park and a tasty ramen shop with no English menu. More of a concierge tour than a culture tour, but that worked well for me.
