Hey there! I'm Mani-san, your friendly local host in Tokyo. Tokyo isn't just a place for me; it's a canvas of endless creativity and stories waiting to be discovered. What I adore most about Tokyo is that it's always alive buzzing with energy, just like the people here. The stunning scenery and architecture never cease to amaze me. But what truly fascinates me is that everyone you meet has a unique story. When I'm not working, you'll find me uncovering hidden gems in Tokyo, surfing its vibrant streets, and diving deep into neighborhoods like Shinjuku, Shibuya, Asakusa, and Enoshima. I've got the inside scoop on this city's diverse architecture and the charm of its lesser-known streets. So, let's embark on an adventure together and experience Tokyo like never before. See you in the city!

My reviews

We learned so much about the area! I loved it when our guide walked us down a little food alleyway in Shinjuku. It was something we would not have found on our own. And he was so knowledgeable about Japanese history since he had studied it for many years!

We only took a 3 hour tour, but feel like we learned so much about spots in Tokyo, it enriched our visit tremendously. Our guide was Mani! He was fantastic!

As a visitor to a new and unique part of the world, Japan seemed overwhelming and complicated. An experienced guide sensitive to the requirements of a visitor can make all the difference. For this situation it was good luck to meet and work with such a person. Mani generously agreed to meet at my hotel early in the morning to discuss the details of how he could best guide me for a four hour day. Especially critical was how to actually get around using the train system with the wheelchair of my travel companion and understand the customs and basic rules of Japanese culture. My companion was very impressed and happy with how Mani explained the meaning and importance of everything around us. He was very thorough and patient with all our many questions. He showed us how to demonstrate proper respect. Mani went beyond his scheduled time, kindly assisting with the difficult management of the wheelchair. I wish to thank him for his extraordinary help.
