We used Get your Guide to provide us with somebody to help in orienting us around Tokyo for obvious reasons and after an initial mismatch of guides who didn't appear to want to answer any early questions we were assigned Emely and what a transformation she was. Emely couldn't be more helpful even when we had to alter plans at the last minute. She provided just the right balance of showing us off beat locations with explanations and opportunities to purchase items that may have been a little more difficult without her. She also showed us easy ways to get round the city and how to more easily interpret the subway map - the tip is to use colours and station numbers rather than names, this set us up for the rest of the visit. Emely also showed us the more normal side of Tokyo and introduced us to an amazing shopping mall. She stayed with us the whole time and did things at our pace. We were also lucky enough to be there when the Imperial palace inner garden was open (something only done a few days of the year) and even though time was up she stayed with us through that experience. She was very friendly throughout the whole time and explained many many things that would have had us scratching our heads. Thanks Emely for being so great Ste and Dot
