Hello, I’m Georgina. I come from Uganda. I’ve been living in Kyoto since April 2015, and I’m definitely counting on being here still in the foreseeable future. For me, the fascinating thing about Kyoto is the perfect balance between city and country. The fact that you can be out in the mountains and nature by a simple 30-minute bus ride from the city is just mind-blowing. Then of course there is the historical Gion district, the unlimited number of temples, shrines, and palaces right within the city. Not to mention, the shopping places for affordable Japanese souvenirs, and of course the eateries that live true to Japan’s fame for unique delicious food. I also know some places that serve great plant-based foods at reasonable prices. Whatever your preference is, I got you! Why not come and explore Kyoto with me? I look forward to meeting you soon!

Georgiana is extremely friendly and knowledgable - I tiny small very small I wish that we had an authentic Japanese person to take us on the tour - or perhaps someone who can read Japanese - overall Georgiana was extremely helpful friendly and very professional and the trip was definitely well worth it

We were so fortunate to discover Kyoto for the first time by the hand of Georgina! Her knowledge, professionalism and disposition can only be surpassed by her charm, politeness and attentiveness to our specific needs. She truly crafted a tour catered to our interests and went out of her way to accommodate our requests. We appreciated that she spoke fluent English so nothing was lost in translation. We were able to navigate through the amazing maze of temples, streets, shrines, gardens and enjoy street food all in one day without ever feeling rushed. Only through her expertise we could have achieved this!
