Before we met, Hiroki & I had exchanged messages & I told him that while I wanted to see 1-2 major Kyoto sites, mostly I wanted to experience things off the beaten path that most tourists might miss. I felt that I could pretty easily experience the major sites without a local guide. Hiroki provided excellent suggestions, & then we discussed & modified the tour once or twice as the day progressed. It was a perfect day & I would recommend Hiroki to any visitors!
