What you’ll do

Just a 38-minute train ride outside of Barcelona is the charming, historic city of Girona. Although small (you could explore it in a day, hooray!) don't underestimate just how much of a punch this charming little place can pack.

It'll feel like you stepped back 2000 years in time as you wander old paved stone streets and up winding staircases, discovering the old Jewish Quarter, marveling at ancient and Gothic churches, or visiting the Girona History Museum.

Stroll along the River Onyar with your host, see the city’s iconic colorful houses and discover the ancient Roman and Moorish architecture which is still standing today.     Alan was very knowledgeable about the history and the city of Girona itself. He had even taken time to study the various options of routes one can take to reach the cathedral, so that he can provide a less strenuous route for people who may find it difficult to climb the steps. That shows he really cares about providing the best services to the visitors. He also made recommendation and reservations for our lunch and dinner at very good restaurants. We really enjoyed our tour with him and we have no hesitation to recommend him. We ourelves will certainly look for him when we next come back to Baecelona. Thank you Alan. ,
