Ken was highly knowledgeable about Hiroshima as he was a local. This made the experience personalised. It was very informative (and emotional). Ken also showed us to a little restaurant we would never have found without him, to try traditional Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki. It was a great experience! Highly recommend!

My family and I had the 2-hour walking tour with Ken that focused on the bomb dome and bomb memorial/museum. Ken was very prompt in reaching out over WhatsApp to understand our desires for the tour and schedule the meeting time, place, etc. Ken was also very friendly and met us at the Hiroshima train station to help navigate us to the Bomb Dome and local area. He showed us the location of the hypocenter, a cemetery adjacent to the hypocenter, and walked us from the bomb dome over to the museum. Once in the museum, however, there was little interaction, and we were self-guided for the most part. It was helpful to have Ken purchase trolley and museum tickets for us and then reimburse him. Overall, this tour was not a great value for me. It was helpful to have a guide navigate us from the train station to the bomb dome using the trolley, however, I would have preferred that we meet at the museum or bomb dome and not take 20-30 minutes of our 2-hour tour on a trolley ride where there was no interaction. There were interesting pieces of information, but overall we learned little information beyond what could be learned by browsing through the museum on our own. I think a better itinerary would be 2 hours of touring around Hiroshima and the bomb dome area, and then ending the tour at the museum, with the museum being pretty much self-guided anyway.

Really enjoyed having Ken show us some of the sites of Hiroshima. Being a native of the area we appreciated his sharing his insight and stories from his mother who lived through WW II. Planning, communications and logistics were great. Ken even reserved spots for us to eat Hiroshima’s soul food - Okonomiyaki - at the end of the tour. Thank you Ken.

Masa was very knowledgeable and catered our tour perfectly for our family. Not always easy to capture teenage boys attention but she did! We all agreed our time with Masa was a highlight of our trip.

Great tour!!

Our guide Kaku was amazing. He took us to the local hotspots that tend to not where the tourists go including this incredible curry restaurant. Both my partner and myself don't like curry all the much but decided to give it a try as it had been a while and walked away from the meal being easily one of the best meals we had. He was very knowledge and easy to talk too.

We had the best day, very knowledgeable of the area her name is Kaori. She was lots of fun and took lots of photos of us so we could remember our day.

Kaori made the whole day fun and was very accommodating to what we wanted to do and see. Great photographer and knew exactly where to look and take some great photos. Highly recommended.

Our guide enthousiasme made this trip really enjoyable. She knew how to avoid the crowded places. Really knowledgable and crearly a travel fan!

Tom was fantastic showed us some good local spots and some great history of Hiroshima he really knows his stuff!

Most interesting part was all the little details about the shrines and temples. And especially entering those and going is some not so obviously acceessible places.

Tomoyuki was an excellent guide for our Miyajima half day tour. Beside his knowledge about the holy island and its temple's, we have very much enjoyed to learn more about Japan and the Japanese culture and people. It was a pleasure for our family to have Tom with us. We would be more than happy to meet him again and can only recommend him.

We spent 4h with Tom and visited A- bomb dome and museum and Hiroshima castle. Tom was great and would definitely recommend

We went on a 6 hour trip Miyajima and Nozz was excellent with his knowledge. We asked for a tempura restaurant for lunch and with all the crowds he found us a table and ordered for us. He also helped change our bullet train tickets that day to an earlier time. We loved this trip

What an incredible day in Hiroshima with Nozomi Kushida ( Nozz)! Nozz’s communication from the start was great. There were several spots I wanted to see in Hiroshima and Nozz also booked a great spot for lunch where we had the most delicious okonomiyaki. Nozz took me to Shukkeien Garden, Hiroshima Castle, and of course, Peace Memorial Park and Museum. We saw each spot and Nozz explained the history and importance of each spot The history of Hiroshima is right before your eyes in many spots and is obviously thought-provoking and emotional. Nozz explained with sensitivity at our time in the museum about the various exhibits. It was very emotional and I’m very glad that we stopped and saw this unforgettable museum After our visit, Nozz had planned a visit to Miyajima so that we could see the stunning torii gates. The boat ride was relaxing and Nozz’s easy going manner made for great conversation then and throughout the day. I am so glad we could stop at Miyajima and end the day at such a beautiful site. I am so glad I was able to have Nozz as my guide. His English is absolutely amazing and I learned so much from him. I so appreciate that he accommodated my itinerary and also added a couple of extras that I enjoyed. He also booked spots and activities in advance which saved us time. I have a new friend in Japan! If you are looking for a guide to take you around Hiroshima or Miyajima, you must ask for Nozz. You will be happy you did!

Mr Nozz is fluent in English and very friendly. he contacted after I booked the tour, and offered to meet us at our convenient location. highly recommended this very personalized tour to anyone who is right on schedule.

What a wonderful day on Miyajima! I was lucky with the weather, but even luckier with my guide, Yuka, who had figured out in advance how to beat the long queues, so we spent all our time doing things rather than just waiting. I so enjoyed my tour with Yuka. She is a lovely person, and because she had put a lot of thought and care into preparation, we were able to use our time on Miyajima really well. Our guide Aya was amazing, she made the trip very plesant. This was one of the best experiences so far on our trip in Japan. Aya is very caring, helpful and very god company and she was very knowledgeable about the history.

Our Masako was brilliant she was friendly and interacted with us easily. We had a lot of fun, discussing lots of topics and the venues that we visited. She was very easy going and knowledgeable about the local history, customs and culture and knew how to explain it simply for us. At the end Masako even helped my wife with some shopping items she required. We had a very enjoyable time with Masako.

Rena was so engaging and knowledgeable. Her knowledge was exceptional and she took us to places that were very interesting! Despite the rain, we had a great tour and would highly recommend this host and the tour!
