If you're looking for a variety of fun experiences to enjoy with your kids, Odaiba is the place to be! It's family-friendly and packed with attractions to explore. Situated in the middle of Tokyo Bay, the view from the monorail as it glides over the water is already exciting. And keep an eye out for the cool, life-sized Gundam statue waiting to greet you!
Tailor your adventure to suit your kids' ages and interests, and get ready for an exciting exploration. And if you're feeling adventurous, I'd recommend checking out the Poop Museum! It's not your typical museum experience, but if you have a taste for quirky humor, it's so unique.
Yurikamome
The monorail running along the waterfront is called the 'Yurikamome'. Since it's fully automated with no driver's cabin, the front seats of the first carriage offer spectacular views throughout the ride!
So, if it's possible, aim for the very front row of the first carriage. You'll get to enjoy the breathtaking sights of the Rainbow Bridge spanning Tokyo Bay and the vibrant scenery of Odaiba.
Poop Museum
*Sorry to interrupt if you're having a meal.
Lacking a bit of sophistication, but actually quite fun, so I couldn't resist mentioning it... It's a humor-filled indoor play area themed around poop, featuring crappy games, ball pool, shout, drawing, and more. It's not overly spacious, so you can wrap up your visit in about 1-2 hours.
Overflowing with humor & laughter, it's sure to be a hit with the kids, guaranteed. (For families with a preference for elegance, I'll gladly suggest an alternative destination).
Rainbow Cotton Candy
After a good laugh, how about taking a break with a colorful and huge Rainbow Cotton Candy? You can purchase it at the shop right in the middle of the nearby food court.
This photogenic and adorable sweet treat is sure to attract attention. Plus, it's the perfect way to recharge your kids' energy with this delightful treat.
Ramen Kokugikan
Ramen Kokugikan in Odaiba is a gathering place for six renowned ramen shops from across Japan. From Hokkaido to Kyushu, you can savor delicious ramen from various regions. They offer children's ramen as well, making it family-friendly and attracting ramen enthusiasts from all over the country.
Retro Japan Area
After enjoying your lunch, I highly recommend checking out an amusement spot that recreates the atmosphere of a Japanese downtown from the 1950s. Nestled on one floor of a commercial building, you'll find retro-themed stores selling vintage goods and snacks, an arcade filled with classic games, and even a haunted house.
You'll discover unique, cute, and amusing items that you won't find anywhere else
