I was born 14 miles from Times Square in New Jersey. I have been fascinated with the city since I was a child visiting my Grandmother in Brooklyn.. Fulfilled my lifelong dream of living here in 1991 when I moved to midtown Manhattan.For the past seven years I lived in Queens -- have just moved back to Manhattan. For many years I worked in Corporate Human Resources. Became a tour guide in 2011 and love to show my city to visitors. I'm an avid traveler and have visited 12 European countries. I'm a "history buff" as well as a guitarist and singer..My ethnic background is Dutch, English, German, Norwegian and Polish Jewish. I have an ancestor on my mother's side who lived in New Amsterdam in the 1650's! I look forward to meeting you and working with you to create an itinerary that relates to your personal interests.
