About me
I've been living in London (Holland Park /Notting Hill area) for the last ten years, and I find the city an endless source of fascination; even if you think you know an area, there's always something to take you by surprise or something you hadn't noticed before! It's these little gems - a hidden garden, a quirky bookshop, a particular feature of a building - I enjoy sharing with others, just as much as London's well-known landmarks. As someone with an arts background, I'm especially interested in drawing and fine art, and love to explore London's galleries and museums. I am also very enthusiastic about the history of London, in particular its churches and cemeteries - so much so that I volunteer as a tour guide at Highgate Cemetery in North London. I've lived in both Germany and France, and having worked for many years as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language, there's no need for you to worry if you feel your English isn't as good as you would like it to be - I can adapt my language to suit your level. I look forward to meeting you and showing you some of my favourite London things!
