Since I was 12 years old, Soho has completely captivated me. I was born and raised in London. I skipped class most of the time and hung out in Soho. I can clearly recall what it was like in the 1980s when it was a red-light district filled with clip joints, brothels, and pornographic theatres. When I was 18, I also served cocktails in a gentlemen's club I finally made the move to Soho 12 years ago. I enjoy contributing significantly to the community, and from 2015 to 2018, I worked at and even served as the festival's director of the annual Soho Food Feast.
