I was born in Liverpool and stayed here for university. I enjoy spreading my passion for my city to locals and tourists alike and I enjoy promoting all the great sites of interest to visitors. I love history and culture so I often visit all the interesting places Liverpool has to offer- there are plenty, from amazing museums and art galleries to restaurants and shops. If you're keen for an excellent meal, I'd recommend my favourite restaurant, Villa Romana. It is simple and delicious Italian food and is a restaurant that has been in Liverpool for decades. I love Liverpool because the city is nothing like what people expect. We have amazing culture that is not just the Beatles- although we do have lots of Beatles sites to enjoy, that often surprise visitors to our city. I believe this is a friendly city and I always say to visitors that if you ask anyone in Liverpool for help they will be happy to give it. We have great museums and art galleries that offer so much, for free and we also have a ton of hidden gems. Some of our hidden gems are literally ‘hidden’ as they are underground like the Williamson Tunnels and Western approaches. I'd be happy to show you to these gems and so many others.
