My name is Igor, originally from the Basque Country in Northern Spain. However, I arrived in Edinburgh in 2015 and I instantly fell in love with the city. I really like the architecture and the green spaces, Edinburgh has very beautiful areas where to take a walk. Some of the biggest attractions I enjoy are its ghost stories and legends, same as the bagpipe melodies in the background when you are walking through the Royal Mile. As a guide, I would also take my tourists to see some other interesting spots in the city center that you can not miss out on as they are the Market Cross, the St. Giles' Cathedral, Greyfriars Cemetery, Bobby's statue, Grassmarket... I would love to tell them stories about The Killers Burke and Hare, Maggie Dickson, or The Deacon Brodie. On the other hand, I would also advise them to some places where to eat as Oink so they could try this particular pulled pork sandwich, and the Howies for them to try some nice Scottish food. Nevertheless, to fully experience the city I would recommend a little taste of Edinburgh's nightlife in venues such as Whistle Binkies or Stramash, where you can have local beers while listening live music.
