What you'll do
Be transported back over 2000 years to the time of an ancient civilisation which predates the Maya and Aztecs, yet to this day remains a mystery to historians and archeologists. See not only the im-posing temples and pyramids but discover the other structures which helped make Teotihuacán the greatest city in Mesoamerica, and much more than simply a religious site.
The imposing site, protected inside a valley that’s encircled by majestic mountains was built around 100BC but very little is known about the reasons for its collapse. So with a history loving local, ex-plore the city and visit each of its unique pyramids, temples, statues and fading paintings.
Explore the main plazas and discover the iconic attractions as well as getting off the beaten path to see smaller and less visited spots where you’ll find incredible murals and intricate designs decorat-ing temples and monuments - the area is packed full of hidden gems that most visitors never see!

Day Trip to Teotihuacan and the Pyramids | Mexico CityReview by: Laura C
As first-timers to Mexico City with only a few short days to spend, we wanted to maximize our experience. Roberto and our driver, Alan, did exactly that. We expected the pyramids to be amazing (they were), what we didn't expect was the sheer size of the site, the murals. the tamales, the pork brain tacos, the pulque, AND (most importantly) the extensive knowledge of both Roberto and Alan. THANK YOU! We are sold on this guide/drive team and wouldn't hesitate to book other City Unscripted tours as a result.

Mexico City brought to life!
My husband and I had a very limited period of time to experience a taste of Mexico City. We were very lucky to have Roberto as our guide for half a day. His local, archaeological and historical knowledge of what is now one of our favourite cities in the world enhanced our visit. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough - his manner, sense of humour and knowledge of English were fantastic. We were also helped at very short notice to organise our tour by Bertie from City Unscripted - all in all a very professional outfit. Thank you Roberto and Co.

Great two days with Roberto in Mexico City
We had two great days with Roberto in Mexico City, first day focused on street food and food markets, second day on Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Very easy to communicate with and overall made our visit to CDMX hundred times more interesting than if we had tried to go at it alone.
