What you’ll do

Shake off those sea legs and head for dry land the second you hit Taipei’s docks. One of our local Taipei hosts will take you by the hand and lead you straight to the heart of the city.

Once there, depending on your time constraints, you’ll be able to take in a few iconic sights like the Bao’an Temple and Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall or walk down famous Dihua Street. As a city that’s deeply in touch with its spiritual roots, you will find temples and shrines dotted across each neighborhood of Taipei. 

If it’s about food for you, then fear not! You’ve docked in the right place. Taipei’s street food scene is so permeated into local life that some apartments are built without kitchens - now that’s commitment.

Stop by at a night market (or day market, for that matter) and sample some steaming bowls of goodness. Bid your host a warm farewell before heading back aboard, knowing you’ve savored your time in the explosive city of Taipei, and hopefully, with a mind to visit again soon.

    Jon met us in the lobby of our hotel and showed us around various markets in Kowloon. Then off to a Michelin star lunch before heading to Ngong Ping cable car experience. We saw the giant Buda, a monastery, and finished with some shopping. It was a great day and Jon gladly took pictures for/of us to remember it.

    eli was really amazing, I feel like we made a new friend. She was super punctual and friendly and good at planning. Also she loves food and knew where to go shopping. She took us on really nice routes to see shrines mixed with little shops and hidden gems. It was a really fun 3 hours. Eli is very accommodating and polite and funnnyyy :)
