HELLO, I’M NANOHO
I live in Azamino.
I work in Tokyo.
I hang out in
Sakuragicho , Yokosuka, Isezakicho.
About me
100% Japanese but with an Aussie accent, and extremely curious by nature. I have lived in Yokohama for 24 years, and this city has been my stomping ground since I learned how to catch a train. I know all the best spots to see Sakura in the spring; where to chill in the park by the port with a cold beer during summer; where to enjoy a matcha ceremony among red maples in autumn; and where to experience the Japanese New Year during winter! I have many bonza spots to show travellers, be it a historical one, nature one or one with great food. The last is not limited to the usual Chinatown or Minato Mirai area, but includes also the lesser known attractions. I love learning about the perspectives that non-Japanese people have about Japan, which has encouraged me to start building a website about the local and niche Japanese essence. So come say "G'day" and you'll be glad you did! Cheers.
