I'm Michael, 36 years old and originally from Germany. I had the pleasure of moving to Tokyo almost 7 years ago, after spending 6 years in Dublin Ireland. While in Tokyo I really fell in love with Akihabara. It's probably the place I spent most of my leisure time. I'm a big fan of anime and gaming, so it felt like a new home for me. In the spring I enjoy going to hanami with my wife, especially around Yoyogi Koen. The summers are great for viewing fireworks and it's the start of the Matsuri season. These small fests can be overwhelming, but they are always fun. While not a big fan of regular sites, I enjoy the smaller or sometimes hidden gems Tokyo has to offer.
