Alban, private guide in Tokyo

HELLO, I’M ALBAN

I live in Ichikawa.
I work in Chiyoda.
I hang out in Kamakura, Kawagoe, Ueno.

About me

An open minded Parisian big bear with big hair and tons of stories about the contemporary Japanese lifestyle. I've been living in Tokyo for 10 years and know all the way between Chiba and Kamakura. My main mode of transportation around this place is cycling. I decided to move to Japan because everything is so different here, and every discovery is amazing. I am an engineer, but I've always enjoyed taking friends and visitors around the country as a hobby and treating their tastebuds with the best single origin coffee or Japanese Nihonshu (sake). My perfect day here would start in Akihabara, the Electric Town with the maids trying to get you into their coffee and the electronic shops to sell you the latest gadgets. Ueno through Ameyayokocho is also a must-see. Of course to make a day perfect I need some tempura from Asakusa followed by local coffee. I promise that in the few hours you spend with me you'll get a real introduction to the largest city in the world, so let's explore Tokyo together!
