Hi, I’m Raul

I’ve lived in Osaka for 2 years

I am a Free lance artist

I’m Chilean, 33 years living in Osaka, Japan since 2020. Art historian and freelance artist I enjoy traveling a meeting new people around the world. I have experience working in museums as a researcher and guide. I like to share knowledge and create experiences for people. Osaka is called 'the kitchen of Japan' for its varied gastronomy and its many restaurants scattered around the city, in small alleys and corners in areas such as 'Ura' Namba, Nipponbashi, and Shinsekai, food is one of the things where you can find a true characteristic of the city. But the Kansai region is also well known for having the most beautiful temples in Japan, and Osaka has one near the center, at the Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, one of the oldest Shinto Shrines that can be reached by tram, a trip worth taking to discover a part of the city little known to tourists. My motivation is to show you these places that I have discovered in my three years living in Osaka so that you get a real "Kansai vibe".
