The local trip with Takako was very useful to understand Nagoya. It was short time, but it was very comfortable and pleasant experience. In addition, Takako was good at English, so we had no problem communicating at all. She'll become a good friend to people who travel alone like me.

Great food tour. At our host’s suggestion, we altered the start time to later as more restaurants were likely to be open. We were very happy with the restaurants selected and our host made additional recommendations and sent map directions so we could try them on our own time.

We used City Unscripted for a private food tour in our recent trip to Nagoya. It was a seamless experience from beginning to the end. I appreciate the thoughtful process where they ask a series of questions to try to match us with the guide that suit our indvidual needs and preference. The guide that was allocated to us, Saki, was wonderful and had all the attributes we had asked for. We had a fun night out with her, she was excellent in her communication and was very organised. She checked with us on our preferences, made booking arrangement ahead of time and informed us a long the way. Despite being organised, she is also flexible and was more than happy to make last minute change to the plan when our little son preferred something specific to eat. She is very personable and the entire time just felt like we were hanging out with a friend. It was an overall positive experience with City Unscripted and we cannot recommend Saki highly enough as a guide! Our trip has become that extra more memorable because of her.
