Jing, private guide in Kyoto

HELLO, I’M JING

I live in Sakyo ward.
I work in Sakyo ward.
I hang out in Kamigyo ward, Nakagyo ward, Higashiyama ward.

About me

I’m originally from China and now living in Japan. I still remember my first visit to Kyoto several years ago: I was so excited about this amazing city and couldn’t wait to find out more! Now it’s been my third year living in and exploring Kyoto while studying for a master’s degree in environmental management. I enjoy going out for Umeshu, wine, or beer with my friends after completing those heavy reports and examinations. Sometimes we go to a bar or a restaurant, and sometimes we just spend a summer night drinking by the Kamogawa River. I also like to watch dramas (especially Game of Thrones, anybody else?), read anime (my favourite is “Naruto! Attack on Titan”), eating sashimi and sweets, playing tennis, and learning and playing Rawap (an instrument of the Uyghur from Kashgar). I know many special ways to spend an unforgettable day in Kyoto, so if you're interested in tasty food, weird-designed restaurants, local popular bars, or some hidden nice spots, we can explore all of them together. I'm always on the lookout for interesting events and festivals taking place. Since going alone can be boring, how about you join me and we can have fun time together?
