I’ve lived in Kobe for 25 years
I speak English, Japanese, Danish
I am a Tour guide, translator and writer
I was born and raised in Kobe, but I spent three years of my life in Denmark through exchange programs and a Master's degree program. I have loved travelling since I was a kid and I have even travelled across Europe alone before. Food, nature and culture are my favourite themes while traveling and also in my life. "When in Rome, do as the Romans do” - as a traveller myself, I believe that this is the best way to enjoy a place while being welcomed by the locals at the same time. Kobe is known for its delicious beef, but many don't know about the other exciting aspects of this cosy city. I'd love to show you all the cute cafes and hidden spots. I enjoy different kinds of food, sweets and snacks, especially the taste of bitter Matcha together with sweet Japanese confections. I do yoga every day in the morning to maintain my health and plan to get a certificate and I have recently started learning about Japanese tea ceremonies again after many years and can't wait to share my refreshed knowledge with you.
