About me
I was born and raised in Kobe city and have lived here for 24 years. I was a baby when the Great Hanshin Earthquake hit, so I have grown up with Kobe rebuilding itself. I studied at Osaka City University in Osaka and now study at Graduate school at Kobe University, so I could take you around both cities. My favourite local dishes in Kobe are Akashi yaki (resembles Octopus balls), cakes, Kobe beef croquettes, Ohagi, and of course sushi and sashimi. Akashi, located next to Kobe, has a fish market and offers us fresh fish, so it is my favourite place for delicious sushi. Most of my interests are focused around food: I love eating it, searching for new places that serve it, taking pictures of it and thinking about it. My favourite hobby is exploring good local restaurants in Kobe, Osaka, and sometimes Kyoto. To relax, I spend my time at local cafes or by the seaside listening to good music (I'm a big fan of Clean Bandit).
